Is this forum still alive?
Anyway, my name's Chelsea, but online I normally go as Bodie. Oh, yeah, and another thing about me: I am obsessed with Willy Wonkaaaa. <3
So how this came about was my camp did a play of "Willy Wonka" this year (based on the original 1971 movie). I tried out thinking it would be a cool play, fun to be in. Quite frankly, I was half-expecting them to give me an Oompa-Loompa since I wasn't very good...
And I got the part of Willy Wonka. <333
It was seriously the best moment of my life.
So I became sort of *cough* obsessed, and when I got home of course I reread the book and rented the movie (the new movie, 'cause it's just better that way).
And of course, now I lurve Wonka. <3 He is amazing. I'm actually not really a Johnny Depp fangirl or anything. I just love his character so much... xD

Hello, Starshine, this forum is alive from time to time because there are not many fierce Wonka fans anymore, but we still lurk around.

There are a few people who also like only the character, not JD.

Yeah, I think Johnny Depp's a great actor, I'm just not all OMG I WANT TO MARRY HIM like some people...

I am rather surprised how can Wonka get new fans even these days when it is long after the movie.

I always did like him, but I guess I was just sort of reminded how much when I was in that play... it sparked an obsession in me. xD

I admit I haven't visited here for awhile, but I'm still a fan. I know just how you feel...I'm not a Depp fan either; just a Wonka fan.
